Update April 27, 2020:
According to the updated Governor's "Safer at Home" Order, Pet Grooming is now allowed to operate as a curbside service with some restrictions. I have put some new procedures in place as outlined below in order to be in compliance with the law.
No clients are allowed to be in the building, so I will have to come out to your car to get your dog. When you arrive for you appointment, pull up to a spot near the window/door. I am hoping to have a fenced in area in front of the door for you to put your dog in upon arrival. If not, I will take your dog from near your car. I will give you an estimated pickup time at drop off, and will text you when I am just about done. Pickups need to be done promptly to avoid interactions between clients. The rules in place for business also require online or by phone payment. I will be emailing clients an invoice via email so the grooming charge can be paid online. If you don't have an email or online access, then I can take your credit card information over the phone.
I do ask that if you have traveled recently, are feeling ill, or have been exposed to others that are sick, please reschedule your dog's grooming appointment. I will get you back on the schedule once you are feeling better.
I realize that many dogs are overdue for their grooming, especially those that were growing their hair out over winter. If the dog's hair is excessively tangled or is matted, I am most likely going to have to do a short haircut this time. At least the weather is warming up and your dog will be ready for summer. I am glad I can get back to work, even if it is more restrictive than in the past. If you have any questions, email at [email protected], call or text at 414-422-9222 although I respond much more quickly to text vs returning a phone call.
Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing you soon.I will be notifying everyone who had their appointment cancelled to schedule a new appointment. Please stay safe and healthy, and your dogs will be looking great soon!
Grooming at Home:
Home maintenance on your dog between grooming appointments is always a good idea, but even more so now if your pet is going to have to wait longer for grooming. Frank Rowe and Son is a grooming supplier who put together special grooming kits for us to offer our clients. This is the brush and type of comb I use when grooming your dog and a great smelling grooming spray to making brushing and combing easier. It is especially important to brush your dogs ears, tail, and head/face if you don't want those shaved short due to mats and tangles! The kit is offered at a slight discount to my clients for $24.00 and then I receive a small credit towards grooming supplies once grooming businesses are allowed to reopen. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. https://frankroweandson.com/tammier1.html
Thanks so much, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
About Groom'n Time
About Groom'n Time
Groom'n Time Pet Spa is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
Groom'n Time has been in business since 1993. The owner and groomer, Tammie Riepe, graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming in 1993, and has been making pets look great ever since. Tammie is a lifetime member of the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists (ISCC) and continues to go to grooming seminars to keep current with the latest styles and equipment.
Groom'n Time has some of the newest equipment available to make grooming a happier experience for your pet. We have a Bathing Beauty Bathing System which makes their bath almost massage-like. The stainless steel bathtub has a cushioned mat for the pets to stand on, and an opening in the front to make it easy for large dogs to just step into the tub, or use the doggie ramp to get in. A selection of driers allows us to chose an appropriate drying method for your pet, safety being our number one concern. There is a Hydraulic Table which lowers to a level that allows most of the larger dogs to just step up on the table. A Linked Interval Positioning System replaces the traditional grooming arm on the main grooming table. It has many advantages including more adjustability and hip supports for the dogs that need a little help standing on the table. This system along with The Hair Vac clipper system makes clipping faster, so the pet doesn't have to stand so long for clipping. Even pets that have had a hard time at other groomers often don't mind grooming as much after visiting Groom'n Time.
With a variety of offerings to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy working with us. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
